Book Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The Deathly Hallows is definitely my favourite book of the Harry Potter series, largely due to the ending.

The beginning was okay but it was nothing to shout about. Once again, Harry demonstrates a strange lack of faith in his friends and family. Its funny that he should expect all of them to be perfect when he’s not. Or that he cannot make allowances for their youth.

My favourite part though starts when Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts. From that point onwards, the excitement simply continues to build and there are plenty of memorable moments where Harry and his friends continue to display their sense of humour, loyalty and courage. Finally, we get to see so many of the characters in the Harry Potter series shine, most notably being Neville. I especially loved that show of solidarity and courage by the Hogwart’s students who refused to give up on Harry in exchange for their lives.

My conclusions :
  • Would I re-read the book ? Definitely, yes.
  • Would I want to read the next book in the series if there were one? Definitely.
  • Would I want to own my personal copy if I didn’t already own it ? Yes.
  • Who would I recommend this too? Everyone.
  • For those looking to read the book, would I recommend buying or borrowing the book? Buy the series.
