Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week's teaser comes from Trudi Canavan's The Magician's Guild. I chose it because it seems a good reflection of what the heroine does for most of the book, running or hiding from the magicians after her.
Have you read the series? Is it YA or adult? I keep seeing the name of this one, and The Magician's Apprentance all over, and I'm wondering if I should start reading it.
ReplyDeleteErm, an eye that could be dislocated? Interesting...

ReplyDeleteIntriguing teaser. I've never read anything by Trudi Canavan, but heard good things about her writing.
ReplyDeleteInteresting teaser! The author is new to me.

ReplyDeleteThis book looks interesting! Thanks for stopping by my TT! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteHi Mardel. While it is not specified, I believe it should be considered YA. At the start of the series, the heroine appears to be in her mid to late teens.
ReplyDeleteInteresting teaser...sounds like a good series
ReplyDeleteEgads...she lost her eye??? What a great teaser!
ReplyDeleteyour teaser establishes some suspense - eavesdropping always ends badly :)
