What I Reviewed:
- Goliath by Scott Westerfeld
Game of Thrones is a chunkster! I am on book three of the series, but am listening on audio. Have a great week of reading.
ReplyDeleteYes, it took me almost 2 weeks to finish Game of Thrones. Although part of it was because I wasn't eager to finish the book since I wasn't expecting a good end for the characters I like.
DeleteI have yet to enter the Game of Thrones world ;) Maybe one day, when I get caught up on the books I already have!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Is that even possible ? Every time I think I've almost caught up with my tbr list, I find new books to add to it :-)
DeleteI just picked up Game of Thrones last month from my Audible subscription. Not sure when I will start. Westerfeld is an author I have been thinking of reading too. Would have to start that series.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week!
Overall, I liked the Westerfeld's Leviathan series. But my favorite was the first book.
DeleteI have two Riordan books on my TBR. My favorite book was Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson Please come see what I'm reading now.
ReplyDeleteI loved his Percy Jackson series but didn't think too highly of The Kane Chronicles, so I'm hoping I won't be disappointed with Heroes of Olympus.
DeleteI want to read Jefferson Bones series, I have several patiently waiting on my shelves
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week

Hope you'll enjoy them too. Unfortunately, I don't think they'll make it to books I consider as keepers.
DeleteI really want to start the Game of Thrones novels -- I've watched some of the television series and loved it. And my son and I have really enjoyed the Rick Riordan novels.
ReplyDeleteI've only caught bits of a few episodes myself and after the book I'm thinking maybe I want to watch the series :-)
DeleteI love Game of Thrones!!! Did you like it? Are you going to read the next book?
ReplyDeleteHere's what I'm reading
Have a good Monday!

I'm in 2 minds over it ... on the one hand I'd really like to know what happens next and how it all ends, on the other I really don't like bad endings and it does seem as if the honorable characters won't be the winners in this one
DeleteI need to read A Game of Thrones (Or, really, anything by George R.R. Martin) but I've found myself intimidated. Now I just saw your response to the comment above and I'm even more hesitant.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
That depends I think. If you're the kind that wants a happy ending, like me, then its probably better to skip the book. A part of me wishes I'd done that because now I feel compelled to read...
DeleteRick Riordan is a rockstar :)
