  10. Firestarter more so than any of King's other books? Interesting! How come?

  11. Did you like the book or the movie better? I usually like the book better, but a few times I've found myself preferring the film adaptation.

    Nice list.

  12. The books are always so much better. I see you have a liking for fantasy? With so many wonderful authors out there it is a shame there are not more trilogies and series being made into movies but reading is always best. Have you ever read Anne McCaffery she is awesome~

  13. 1, 4, 6, 8, 11 and 13 I have read. I think I read most before I saw the movies, though. I am always so disappointed with movies made from books. Books are just so much better.

  14. Hi Shelley

Kane and Abel was actually a mini-series. I counted this as well. :-)

  15. @ Shash and Izzybella,
For #2, #3 and #11, I actually liked the films more than the book. For the rest, the books were way better.

  16. Hi Janet

Why Firestarter ? How to explain ... well I'd avoided Stephen King's movies and books for years before that because I get nightmares from horror movies. LOL.

Then, my brother convinced me to read The Drawing of the Three. I read it, loved it and started picking up other King books as I went along. Then, I saw the Firestarter movie on TV and wanted to read this book in particular.
