This week's question from the Hop : “Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?”

I doubt that. I love romance and fantasy now but I still read quite a lot of books from other genres. And over time, my taste has changed before, so I imagine I'd find something new to love again.

This week's question from the Friday Follow : Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one??

Yes. One of the most recent in my memory would be from Explorer X-Alpha. And all because I didn't think the protagonists deserve to win.

This week's question from the Hop : What is the one ARC you would love to get your hands on right now?
Hmm ... not sure if this qualifies, seeing Retribution being promoted everywhere really makes me want to read the book, especially I love the Dark-Hunter series.

This week's question from the Friday Follow : Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
My pick would be Pollyanna. This was the first book that had me crying buckets. What I really love about Pollyanna is how she's always looking for a silver lining. This is something very hard to practice in real life but everything I read it, I feel inspired to follow this philosophy.

This week's question from the Hop : Promote a giveaway from the blogosphere!
Urban Girl Reader is giving away a her copy of A Wedding Wager by Jane Feather. And the reason I picked this is because some of my favourite romances are by Jane Feather. :-)

This week's question from the Friday Follow : What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
Apologies but I'd rather not say. There are a few candidates for this but I think the ones I couldn't finish were worst :-)

This week's question from the Hop : Share your favorite post from the last month and tell us why it’s close to your heart!
My favorite post I did for last month would be the review I did on Graceling. Mostly because I loved the book and can't wait to read the next book in the trilogy.

This week's question from the Friday Follow : What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)
I'd just make sure I needn't get anywhere within sight of either. :-)

This week's question from the Hop : "Which book blogger would you most like to meet in real life?"
Hmmm ... this is a tough one. I don't think I know any book blogger that well yet. There are a few I love to read and follow, but to actually meet them in real life is very scary thought. What if we met and they didn't like me ?

This week's question from the Friday Follow : What character in a book would you most like to be, what character in a book would you most like to date?
The character I'd like to be now is Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter books. If only I were such a clever with, I might be able to charm all my problems away... As for the character I'd like to date. Well, I don't like I'd want to date any of them, no matter how much I love them.

This week's question from the Hop : "Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?"
Why never of course since I'm such a good gal. LOL.

This week's question from the Friday Follow : What is the book that you really don't want to admit to loving??
Unfortunately I just can't think of any at the moment.

This week's question from the Hop : What book influenced or changed your life? How did it influence/change you?
One of the books that got me thinking was For the Roses about prejudice. I really loved the way this family educates themselves about the different religions out there and trying to understand by taking it in turns to practice each one together.

This week's question from the Friday Follow : What book(s) have you discovered lately from someone's book blog?
There are so many including the ones I recently bought and am now reading, Stieg Larsson's Millenium trilogy.

This week's question from the Hop : What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?
Well, of course it makes me sad to lose a follower. And I can't help but wonder what I could have done differently. But I don't want to lose sleep over it either. I'd drive myself crazy if I think too much on it. And yes, I've stopped following blogs. The ones which I haven't seen any new content or updates in months.

This week's question from Parajunkee's View : Who are your favorite authors?
It depends on the genre for me. To name a few : Garth Nix, Nora Roberts, Jane Austen.

Here are a couple of books that I've found while browsing bookstores recently. I haven't bought them yet (only because I've already exceeded my monthly book budget), but am certainly considering it. What do you think ? I've not read any of the author's books before but the premise certainly sounds interesting.
