Book Review of Lover Unbound.
Lover Unbound was a so-so read for me.
While I liked Vishous much better this time around, I have the feeling that this is a residual effect from Lover Revealed. I just can’t seem to care about him and Jane because again I couldn’t see what the attraction between the two main characters was. They simply met and ended up a pair without needing to get to know to each other. That seemed to come after. Besides this, I also find it puzzling how Vishous’s earlier feelings could just disappear like that after he met Jane. Even if he were mistaken about his feelings, the explanation for the change just seems much too simple.
What I did like about the story was revisiting John Matthew and Zsadist. It was nice to see that the most dangerous brother would be the one closest to John Matthew.

I really liked this one but that is because I really liked Jane! Plus this one covered a lot of the lore that JR created and I liked that :) Great review K!
